Caring for your collections at home

Turn your family treasures into taonga for the future with expert advice from a conservator.

Join us for a hands-on session at the Wairarapa Archive and learn easy ways to protect your photographs, letters, and other family treasures. Our conservator will share expert tips to help your memories last a lifetime.

Health & Safety

Your comfort and safety come first. This session will be indoors at the Wairarapa Archive, with limited numbers to ensure everyone has space to move around safely. Our conservator will demonstrate techniques so you can see everything clearly without needing to handle any fragile items. In the unlikely event of an emergency, staff will guide you to the nearest exit.
