Celebrating the Centurions

Join us for an evening of drinks and nibbles as we celebrate some of Wellington's long established organisations.

The Wellington Chamber of Commerce invites you to an unforgettable evening that celebrates our capital’s rich commercial history. Join us as we recognise the resilience and highlight the history of Wellington’s long-established organisations, who have become the backbone of our community.

History is best told by those who have been a part of it, so we’re putting their voices first with a panel of centurion businesses. Engage with them as they share inspiring stories, commitment to our city, and memorable anecdotes from Wellington’s vibrant past.

Come and hear their reflections, and how those have shaped the vision they have for our beloved city. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow Wellingtonians and celebrate the spirit of Wellington!

Let’s raise a glass and honour Wellington’s legacy, and its enduring establishments that have enriched our economy and preserved our unique character.

Wellington Chamber of Commerce

The Wellington Chamber of Commerce is proud to be working with businesses in Wellington since 1856, representing their voice and providing services. The Chamber is part of the fabric of the city, and a strong sense of purpose endures. In its early years the Chamber was instrumental in shaping the region's infrastructure, including successfully advocating for the Pencarrow Lighthouse and Wellington's Queens Wharf. Our members range from major corporations to sole traders. Our work includes taking the voice of members to government and Council and providing a comprehensive range of services. We also offer a full range of advisory services on employment law, occupational health and safety and other elements of human resource management.
