Heritage Tour at the haunted Inverlochy House

Celebrate Halloween with a cuppa and a historic tour of the haunted Inverlochy House.

Inverlochy House is a Victorian mansion designed by local architect Thomas Turnbull for a prominent local family in the late 1870s. Inverlochy House has had a reputation for being haunted since the 1970s and has been the subject of an ongoing paranormal investigation by several NZ and international groups over the years.  

Health & Safety

Set of steep stairs at the back of house - group will be managed to ensure single file decent and steepness will be pointed out.

Wheelchair access into the school and Ceramics Studio is located at the top of the driveway to the left of the main house. Second floor of house is not wheel chair accessible.

Inverlochy House is a Victorian mansion designed by local architect Thomas Turnbull for a prominent local family in the late 1870s. In the early 1900s until 1980 it was divided into nine flats and known as the Inverlochy Flats. Since 1987 it has been the home of Inverlochy Art School.
