Wayne Mason is a founding member of 1960s pop group The Fourmyula, and later went on to form the Rockinghorse and The Warratah, before embarking on a solo career in 1994. Mason wrote a series of hit singles with Ali Richardson for The Fourmyula the best known which is the song 'Nature,' voted No.1 in a list of the Top 100 New Zealand Songs of All Time in 2001.
