Walk the Old Town streets and see the Heritage buildings of Newtown.

The Iconic Category one Langham Hotel and the Ascot hotel bookend the heritage area of Riddiford street, built from 1890.

Hear the history and stories about the people who settled in Newtown from the 1870s. Visit merchants like Castles the chemist, the oldest Victorian chemist in Wellington. Hear about Labour Party political rallies in Green street, and see the oldest houses built from the 1870s.
