Sisters of Compassion

The Sisters of Compassion, also known as the Daughters of Our Lady of Compassion, was founded by Suzanne Aubert at Jerusalem – Hiruhārama on the Whanganui River in 1892. The Sisters of Compassion offer compassionate care to our community by providing meals, basic needs, and support to the elderly, as well as individuals and families. Our mission is to bring dignity to the lives of the elderly, powerless, and those in need.
