St John's in the City, a 140-year-old church designed by Thomas Turnbull, is hosting a quilting display by the Wellington Quilters' Guild. Come and experience intricate quilting designs in this iconic Wellington building.

Health & Safety

Risks to the public are minimal- there are few steps as only the main sanctuary is open. Members of the church will be present and can assist if someone trips or becomes ill. First aid equipment is present in the building.

St. John's in the City's church is the third on this site. It was designed by the renowned architect Thomas Turnbull and built in 1884. The congregation is active in the inner city and meets each Sunday at 10am.
