'The History of Newtown's Green Belt' walking tour

A walk and talk on an 800 year old walking path on Newtown's town belt.

The walking tour will be hosted by local environmental artist Paul Forrest who weaves tales from his research about the heritage and history of our Newtown Green Belt hill range Te Ranga a Hiwi. All this and more whilst wandering through the regenerating native forest planted by Paul and teams of volunteers up to and along the ridge line overlooking Newtown.

Health & Safety

Good footwear advisable. First aid kit on hand. Hospital just down the road.

Please wear good shoes and dress for the weather. The tour may be cancelled in bad weather.
