Book a visit to Te Kohinga | Collection Store with Heritage Curator Vicki Robson, and see works from the Field Collection.
The Field Collection is a collection of 44 works, 24 of the paintings by Frances Hodgkins (1869–1947), considered New Zealand’s most significant expatriate artist. It is the largest collection of Hodgkins’ work outside Te Papa Tongarewa and city collections in Dunedin, Auckland and Christchurch.
Tours can be booked between 11:00AM–12:00PM, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the Wellington Heritage Festival. Due to the small space, numbers are limited to 8 people.
Health & Safety
This event will be held upstairs and limited to 8 people. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Guests should take the lift if necessary. In case of emergency, follow instructions of gallery staff.
