Walk Three - Sacred Spaces of Wellington

This is the third of 3 Guided Walks through Wellington’s spiritual history.

Start at St Mary of the Angel's, founded in 1843, with a recently restored Gothic building dating from 1922.

Next is Wellington Central Baptist, also on Boulcott Street, in Wellington since 1877 and with a building from 1941. St John's Presbyterian, Willis Street dates from the early 1850s and its 1885 church was recently refurbished.

Nearby is Christian Science, founded in Boston in 1879 and in New Zealand since 1914. There will also be an opportunity to visit the bell tower of St Peter's church.
