Wellington Street Art Bicycle Tour

Explore street art by bicycle. We will guide you on a cruisy ride around bike lanes as we discover and enjoy art. BYO bike or hire one at Switched on Bikes.

Public art and artists make our streets come to life.

Murals on the tour include 'Kaiota' by Ariki Brightwell, 'Ngā Kakano' by Johnson Witehira, 'Waimapihi' by Izzy Joy, 'Trust the Process' by Miriama Grace-Smith and Fluro, 'Kia whakatōmuri te haere whakamua Te Aro' by Keri Mei Zagrobelna and Tina Rae Carter at the St James Theatre, and more.

From Parliament through Te Aro to Newtown, the locations on this tour are imbued with life. Each artwork tells a story about people and place – enabling us to see our city through a different lens and appreciate the heritage of our whenua, our buildings, and the people who moved through these spaces.
