Embark on a hīkoi to discover, learn, and understand the rich layers of Māori history in Te Whanganui a Tara, with a focus on Pipitea Pā and surrounds.

Discover, learn, and understand the rich layers of Māori history in Te Whanganui a Tara. Places of interest will include Sky Stadium, the GSB Building, Pipitea Stream, Wellington Girls College, Archives/National Library and the American Embassy, finishing at Old St Paul’s for a complimentary hot cuppa and a guided tour of their new interpretation panels.

Health & Safety

A moderate level of fitness required as participants will be either walking or standing for about an hour. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
