Enjoy drinks and nibbles while you listen to chilling tales of phantom coaches, poltergeists, haunted houses, and eerie encounters on the night-time streets of colonial Wellington. Includes a glass of bubbly and nibbles on arrival.

Amanda McVitty

Amanda McVitty is a professional historian and writer based in Wellington. She is the director of Arque Research Ltd., which specialises in historical research and heritage consulting. Amanda holds a doctorate in medieval history and taught medieval and early modern history at Massey University for a decade, before turning to researching and writing about the history of Aotearoa New Zealand. She is currently writing a book about ghosts and haunting in colonial New Zealand.
