Anzac Hall Complex Tour

Tour this historically significant complex, built during World War I to provide recreation and hospitality for soldiers training at Featherston Military Camp.

Enjoy a fascinating guided tour of the historically significant Anzac Hall. The hall was first opened in 1916 as a recreation centre for the troops at the nearby Featherston military camp, with the families of the first European settlers donating the funds. The building was used as a hospital during the influenza epidemic of 1918-19. It is a Category One Historic Place.

Be at the hall’s main entrance ten minutes before each tour starts.
