Historic Halfway House Heritage Gardeners

The Heritage Gardeners are volunteers who care for this garden. We grow plants likely to have been in a farm garden in this area at the time the house was built. We only use plants that were in New Zealand before 1900. Our garden style is to achieve a pre 1900 rural look and feel.
