How To Move An Archive

Image supplied by Wellington City Archives

Join Adrian Humphris to hear the epic tale of moving our City Archives from A to B — and, just to keep things interesting, to C as well.

Moving an archive is no small feat — with packaging, shelving, environmental controls, and digitisation all in play.

As if one move wasn’t enough, we split our collections across two new homes: Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui and Te Aho Tupua. Join us to hear how we made it happen.
