A red roofed cottage and flowers

KOHA DAY at Upper Hutt's Golder's Cottage at 707 Fergusson Drive.

Golder Cottage, Historic Place & Museum, Upper Hutt

Come and see how our pioneers coped from the 1860's without inside toilets, no running water and no electricity.

See for yourselves how they coped. With 'potties' under the beds and candles and kerosene lamps - you will find them all there. And carrying buckets of water from the pump in the garden meant Mum's didn't need to go to the gym!

And on Koha Day, a visit to the Cottage has never been more affordable!

Health & Safety

There is wheelchair access to the Main part of the ground floor but not to the Attic bedrooms. There is a booklet available with photographs of what is up there.
