Walking Tour of Masterton's Queen Street

Take a guided tour of Queen Street, the main street of Masterton and learn some of the stories of its former occupiers. Follow along as we examine some of the sites and how much or how little or how much they resemble the same site from throughout the 20th Century.

Wairarapa Archive

The Wairarapa Archive is a community and council archive in Masterton. We have two kilometres of occupied shelving and approximately two million images. We are located at 3 Albert Street and are open to the public 1-5 Mon-Fri. We are a team of three and engage in digitisation, conservation and various outreach projects including talks and publications promoting local heritage.
