Rototawai is a tranquil landscape and a restored historic homestead, located in a rural setting in South Wairarapa. A family property made available to the public to enjoy a private collection of art, a unique landscape and historic home.
Rototawai is administered by the Anna Bidwill Foundation – a Charitable Trust established by Anna to enable her private Art Collection to be available for the enjoyment of the general public. Ground floor viewing only. The upstairs area of the homestead is private.
Shakespeare in the Courtyard
Come and be entertained! Performances of some of Shakespeare’s favourite scenes, songs and sonnets, including the Sir Thomas More soliloquy ‘A Strangers’ Case’ about refugees, will take place between 10am-11am in the Courtyard.
Tickets, at $45 each, are required for this part of the event, and include the $30 entry cost for the general open day.
Performers include SGCNZ and Kuranui College alumni and current students. Be sure to bring your own seating.
