Fully immerse yourself in the heritage festival by staying in one of Wellington's most iconic heritage buildings.
Enjoy staying in a historic space with modern amenities: You'll have your own apartment with two generous bedroom "cells", a lounge with an additional sofabed, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom, all with the most stunning views of Oriental Bay and the city.
Your stay includes a private tour through the church and monastery.
Please note that access is otherwise limited to the upstairs floor and entrance areas but we will try to accommodate any special requests.
Parking is available and included in your booking.
Health & Safety
St Gerard's monastery is an earthquake-prone building (25%) and currently undergoing restoration work. We aim to keep disruptions to your stay to a minimum but we cannot make any guarantees with an almost 100 year old heritage building.
Access to the apartment is by stairs, unfortunately the monastery is not wheelchair accessible yet.
