Philosophy House will be open to the Wellington community as part of Wellington Heritage Festival.
The 1913 Georgian style building won New Zealand’s inaugural architecture award. It was built by the Salvation Army as a training facility and since 1982 has been the home of the Wellington School of Philosophy.
The steps in front of the building have excellent hand rails. There is limited wheelchair access at the rear of the building.
