Come along to Wellington City Archives for an insightful talk about our collections followed by a behind the scenes tour.
Established in 1994, the Wellington City Council Archives Te Kano Kohinga Kupu o Pōneke have been open to the public since 1996 and made available online since 2007. We are home to not only council records, but also many Wellington Community Archives, dating back to 1840.
Health & Safety
No open-toed or high-heeled shoes. Further information will be provided to visitors on the day. Our event is generally wheelchair friendly but there may be some inaccessible areas.
