Get your festive season off to a great start with the Wellington Polish Christmas Market.

Part market, part music festival and part old-school street party, there’s something for everyone. Based in Newtown since the 1940s, Wellington’s Polish community invites you, your friends and family into our home to enjoy: • Over 50 stalls full of food, local crafts and gift items from across the world • A Market Stage presenting seven hours of continuous music and dance, • Free kids rides and visits with Mikołaj (Father Christmas) • Free facepainting for kids

Polish Association in New Zealand Inc

The Polish Association was formed in the 1940s by Poles predominantly forced from their homeland by the events of World War II, including the Pahiatua Polish Children, New Zealand's first refugee immigrants. Since that time the Polish Community has had it's premises in Newtown, first in a house on Kenwyn Terrace, then in the 1960's moving to a converted bread factory which has remained our home to this day. The Polish Association welcomes the participation and membership of those with an interest in Poland and things Polish, whether of Polish descent or not.
