Wellington Vintage Machinery Club Open Days

Get a close look and hands-on experience with machinery of yesteryear. Weather permitting, we will have our Fowler Traction engine in steam, too!

Step into the past and experience the sounds of vintage machinery. Explore our historic kitchen, scullery, and shearing display. The Green Shed houses several tractors and farming implements. You will be able to view a milking parlour and see a variety of stationary engines in action. We are home to the machine that was used to make the 1950 Empire Games medals.

Health & Safety

Please wear closed-toe footwear. Be aware of slip and trip hazards. Do not climb on or over safety barriers. Obey all safety signs and rules and keep an eye on any children that you bring along. Most of the display is wheelchair accessible, and an accessible toilet facility is also available.
